Pegasus 2.0.13

Changes

  • The Aircraft Data Wizard now asks only for what's missing. The offer used to be limited to beta builds and always demanded the full capture, flaps and systems, even when we already held half of it. Pegasus now works out what it actually has for your aircraft first: if your flap data is already trusted you go straight to the systems walk, and if we already hold a systems configuration you walk the flaps and go directly to Submit instead of eight steps that change nothing.

  • The wizard will no longer stay quiet about an aircraft forever. "Not now" is remembered for 30 days and a completed submission for 120, instead of permanently.

  • The X-Plane connection method can no longer be changed while a simulator is connected. The plugin/UDP choice, the manual IP and port, and Save are disabled for the duration and Settings tells you why.

Fixes

  • Fixed the Aircraft Data Wizard permanently silencing itself after a failed submission.

  • Wizard failure messages told you the wrong thing. Every failure said "check your internet connection and try again", so a pilot whose submission was rejected outright retried into a wall that could never accept it. Pegasus now tells apart a network problem, being signed out, a fault on our side, and a server having a bad minute - and only offers a retry when retrying can actually work.

  • Fixed the X-Plane plugin appearing to stop responding after your PC slept or your Wi-Fi dropped (plugin 0.2.1). If Pegasus vanished without closing the connection cleanly, the plugin could sit blocked for around fifteen minutes waiting on the network, and no new connection could be made in the meantime. The plugin now gives up on a dead connection in five seconds.

  • Fixed some X-Plane add-on readings freezing for the rest of the session after a reconnect on the UDP connection.

  • Fixed false events being logged when a connection came back: a phantom "NAV lights off" on the plugin connection, and an "Aircraft Type changed" line on every single reconnect even though nothing had changed.
